Se antes o objetivo era apresentar as grandes marcas e lançamentos do mercado mundial, agora a BGS tambémabraçou o compromisso de ser a principal ponte a unir brasileiros e grandes personalidades da indústria de games. Um mérito e tanto! A BGS 2018 caprichou no quesito convidados, trazendo nomes aclamados pelo público. Foi o caso de Cory Barlog e Glauco Longhi (diretor e artista-sênior de God of War ), Rod Fergusson (diretor de Gears of War ) e Fumito Ueda e Masanobu Tanaka (diretor e chefe de design de Shadow of The Colossus ).
