Its story began in October 1988, on the day of Our Lady of Aparecida, when journalist Theódulo Pereira — a man passionate about hospitality and history — transformed his home into Pousada do Mondego. To do so, Pereira used original materials in the renovations to preserve the architectural features of the mansion, without sacrificing the comfort of modern hospitality.
