It all began in 1972, when Anna Maria from Minas Gerais and the Englishman John Parsons left Europe with the intention of opening a hotel in Brazil. They envisioned a place with historical significance. They visited Paraty, Mariana, and Ouro Preto, but it was Tiradentes that won them over. They acquired the mansion and began renovations.
